PURPOSE:To obtain an RBG conversion circuit of which temperature characteristic, phase characteristic and arithmetic accuracy are excellent without using a expensive element by composing a matrix circuit with a digital circuit. CONSTITUTION:The inputs of the matrix circuit 10 are a digital Y signal, a digital I signal and a digital Q signal. Since only a base band signal exists in the whole frequency area from zero to 4.2(MHz), components from zero to 4.2(MHz) may be reproduced by executing matrix arithmetic operation as it is. The output signals R, G and B of this matrix circuit 10 are respectively converted to analogue quantity by a D/A converters 4-6. After that, only a base band component is extracted by low pass filters 7-9 whose passing areas are from zero to 4.2(MHz). Thus the digital RBG conversion circuit of which temperature characteristic, phase characteristic and arithmetic operation accuracy are excellent can be obtained without using the expensive element.
