PURPOSE:To make it possible to do with only one model to be prepared while enabling two kinds of mutually symmetrical metal molds to be cut by enabling a stylus to be moved also in the horizontal shaft direction. CONSTITUTION:A model M and a workpiece W are placed on a table 1. When the workpiece W is cut into the same shape as the model M, a stylus 6 is fixed on the same center as a cutter 19 with respect to a horizontal axis by stopping a motor 18. A motor 12 is controlled such that the stylus 6 makes contact with the model M and a motor 24 is turned synchronized with the motor 12 while the table 1 is forced to be driven along the longitudinal axis or the lateral axis. On the other hand, the workpiece W is cut into the same shape as the model M by turning a main motor 21. In order to cut the workpiece W symmetrically with the model M, the motors 18 and 15 are controlled so as to be interlocked, and the stylus 6 and the cutter 19 are moved with the same speed in the mutually opposie direction against the table 1, and thus the workpiece W is cut into the symmetrical shape with respect to the model M. |
