PURPOSE:To improve a transmission system cost, a space and an operability by superimposing serial data on a synchronizing signal, transmitting the data and the synchronizing signal o in one light transmission line at high speed and thereafter separating the respective signal again. CONSTITUTION:A parallel/serial data converting means 101 reads the input parallel data D0-D3 of four bits in the timing of the serial/parallel converting synchronizing signal CLK1 at a time and outputs as the serial data signal S of bit in the timing of the direct data transmitting synchronizing signal CLK0. Then, a signal synthesizing means 102 voltage/current converts the serial data signal S, the transmitting synchronizing signal CLK0 and the converting synchronizing signal CLK1 to add a current. The output signal of the signal synthesizing means 102 is inputted to an electric signal/optical signal converting means 103 to convert into the optical signal therein, input to an optical signal/electric signal converting means 105 through an optical fiber 104 and the optical signal is demodulated to an electric signal. The demodulated electric signal is inputted to a signal separating means 106 to separate the three signals of the serial data signal S, the transmitting synchronizing signal CLK0 and the converting synchronizing signal CLK1. |
