PURPOSE:To enable to use plural sets of terminals at one time by transmitting and receiving a telex message through a transmitting mail box and a receiving mail box. CONSTITUTION:A terminal operator transmits the telex message, generated on the terminal, to the transmitting mail box of an automatic transmitting receiving device 7 as an electronic mail. Besides, the telex message, which the automatic transmitting receiving device 7 has received from an external part, is transmitted to the transmitting mail box, after a person to be a destination is decided according to the said message. The controller of the automatic transmitting receiving device 7 can extract said mail out of the transmitting mail box. Thus, the number of usable terminals can be made unlimited as tar as the telex message can be transmitted and received between a telex transmitting receiving device and the respective terminals of a network.
