Lock with a self-tensioning follower

A self-tensioning follower is provided in a lock, in that the follower has, on the top side, a slot which extends as far as the square of the follower, a tension lever engaging into this slot. The latter is fastened rotatably on the follower on the side facing away from the latch and is pretensioned downwards by the follower spring on the side facing the latch, so that it projects into the square. Consequently, only a single additional component, namely the tension lever, is required in comparison with commercially available locks. <IMAGE>
