In the case of known driver's cabs with a top-sleeper design, the space available in the upper region of the driver's cab is only used to a limited extent. The object of the invention is to design a top-sleeper in a sensible and compact manner such that it meets the demand for stowage spaces and other functions. According to the invention, there is provided in the transition region between the roof (18) and the windscreen (4) of the driver's cab a storage space (3) which extends at the front over the entire vehicle width and is provided with fixed built-in cupboards, the cupboards comprising a spacious corner cupboard (5) on the driver side and flat cupboards (6, 7) in the region of the centre tunnel and a further flat cupboard (8) with a lower opening (12) on the passenger side. A table element with a transverse compartment (15) which is accessible from the top side may be provided on the passenger side. The climb-through opening (9) may be completely separated from the lower region (10) of the driver's cab optionally by means of a flap (16) or the like. <IMAGE>
