<p>PURPOSE:To enable the title device to carry out stable and strong joining at a high rate, by a method wherein an ultrasonic oscillation and pressurization are controlled by detecting a temperature at the time of joining of plastic sheets. CONSTITUTION:Plastic sheets 1a, 1b are superposed upon each other by a guide roller 4 and the plastic sheets are fed into a gap between a horn 15 and receiving stand 20 which are facing on each other in relation to a state of the plastic sheets 2. Then the ultrasonic oscillation is given by the horn 15, pressing is performed at the same time, a contact surface is heated and the plastic sheets are joined to each other. In this instance, a temperature of the plastic sheet 2 is detected by a temperature detector 18. A control device 22 performs control of ultrasonic oscillation output by controlling amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration of the horn 15 and established pressure of a pressure control valve 17 of a pressurizing device W according to a detected temperature applied to the control device 22 on the basis of a temperature established beforehand according to kinds of the quality of the material, a thickness and a joint area of the plastic sheet 2 as a reference value. Then the pressurizing force is proportional to the ultrasonic oscillation output along with the amplitude and using frequency, and the square of the oscillation output is about proportional to a calorific value.</p> |
