An apparatus of the production of effect yarns, each consisting of two rovings and, if appropriate, additional yarns, has a plurality of twisting stations and, for each twisting station, two double-apron drawframes (1, 2) which are arranged in a V-shaped manner relative to one another in the machine cross-section and each of which is assigned to a plurality of bottom rollers (3, 4, 8, 9) extending over a plurality of twisting stations and each of which has a plurality of pressure rollers (5, 6, 10, 11) assigned to the bottom rollers and provided separately for each drawframe (1, 2). A common bottom delivery roller (12) having a common delivery pressure roller (13) is provided for the two drawframes (1, 2). The bearing blocks (21) of the bottom apron roller (4) of the outer first drawframe (1) each have two fastening surfaces (21a, 21b) which are offset relative to one another in the direction of delivery (L) of the drawframe (1), are inclined relative to one another and can be brought alternatively to bear against the machine frame (14) and which each have a threaded bore (22, 23) for a holding screw (26) which can be inserted alternatively into one of two passage bores (24, 25) offset relative to one another in the direction of delivery (L) in the machine frame (14). At the same time, the two fastening surfaces (21a, 21b) are arranged relative to the bottom apron roller (4) and the supporting rail (19) in such a way that, when the first fastening surface (21a) comes to bear against the machine frame (14), the drawing-zone plane (E1) of the first drawframe (1) touches the delivery pressure roller (13), and that, when the second fastening surface (21b) comes to bear [lacuna] ...
