A connecting socket having an electronics device encapsulated in an RF-proof manner in an insulating-material housing, which has a base part as a carrier for the electronics device and has a housing part which can be removed therefrom. The invention is based on the object of creating a connecting socket of the type mentioned above which is convenient to assemble, is RF-proof and is electrically reliable. The object is achieved in that the electronics device (13) is seated, except for an installation opening (16), in a housing (14) which is encapsulated in an RF-proof manner, in that the removable housing part (12) has a cover part (27) which can close the installation opening (16) in an RF-proof manner, and in that the RF-sealing surfaces between the housing (14) and the cover part (27) lie in a plane (30) which runs at an angle with respect to the closing direction (29). The housing according to the invention is easy to assemble, has good RF-sealing and is thus especially suitable for a house interface point. <IMAGE>
