PURPOSE:To apply optional patterns on a surface having recessed and projecting parts by generating a magnetic field in a given section of the surface, spraying power coating on the surface, removing the powder coating other than the magnetized section and curing remained powder coating. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field is generated partly on the surface having recessed and projecting parts 2 by using rollers, belts or the like having a recessed and projecting surface similar to the surface 2 and a strong magnetic field in accordance with the coating patterns when the surface 2 of a rigid base 1 is applied. Simultaneously or immediately after that, powder coating 6 is sprayed on the whole surface 2 and the powder coating 6 other than the magnetic field is removed by a blower, inclining the rigid base 1 or the like. Then the applied powder coating is baked and cured by using infrared heater or the like. As a result, because of the direct coating on the recessed and projecting pattern surface, the coating of given patterns can be carried out.
