PURPOSE:To resolve a paper jamming and to obtain a proper reading picture by freely adjusting the pressing force of a second roller to a first roller by a pressing regulating means. CONSTITUTION:The first roll 60 rotated in the original carrying direction of a read part by a prescribed driving means is disposed and further, the second roll 70 is disposed oppositely to the first roll 60. Then, the pressing regulating means 80 for regulating the pressing force to the first roll 60 is provided on the second roller 70. Thereby, at the time of holding the original between the first roll 60 and the second roll 70, the pressing force of the second roll 70 to the first roll 60 is weakened to reduce the paper jamming, the pressing force is strengthened after being pinched to obtain large carrying force and properly carry the original.
