PURPOSE:To improve the transmission speed of information without using a circuit, the frequency response of which is high by transmitting an information signal through space directly as an encoded optical pulse signal, without using a high frequency carrier wave. CONSTITUTION:A light transmission path is set up by a spatial light transmission path set up device, and a light reception path is set up by a spatial light reception path set up device 11 for the optical pulse signal to be discharged toward the space. The spatial light reception path set up device 11 is stored in the rectangular parallelepiped cylindrical case 60 of light shading material. An infrared ray transmissive filter 59 is installed at one end plate of the said case 60, and lenses 61, 62, aligned at their optical axes, are arranged in the case 50. The slit plate 63 of the light shading material is arranged between these lenses 61, 62, and it is positioned so that the slit 64 of the slit plate 63 coincides with the focusing position of the lenses 61, 62. Besides, a light receiving device 12 is stored in the other end side of the case 60, and the photodiode 65 of the light receiving device 12 is arranged at the focusing position of the lens 62. |
