PURPOSE:To prevent possible leak, by giving a lead plate for connecting an electrode terminal and harness of a sensor element such as shape that adjacent lead plates are bent in a direction of separating from each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of electrode terminals 1a for drawing a signal voltage according to the concentration of oxygen and a pair of electrode terminals 1b for a heater are led out of one end face of a sensor element 1 and ends of four lead plates 2 are connected respectively to these four electrode terminals. Here, the plates 2 connected to two terminals 1a and 1b adjacent thereto across the thickness of an element 1 are bent at the right angle to the length thereof so as to separate from each other from a position extending along the axis of the electrode terminals with a specified length to a harness 8 and further bent again in a direction of separating from each other's adjacent plate 2 at a position away from each other properly. Then, a cross-section at the right angle to the axis of the end of the plate 2 is so set to be positioned at such an angle to roughly make a square, thereby enabling the prevention of possible leak. |
