PURPOSE:To eliminate labor necessary for the inputting of data for confirmation by reading a mark printed on an arbitrary paper, converting the mark to a prescribed data to register it, meanwhile, taking out thus registered data on necessity, converting the data to the original mark to print it out. CONSTITUTION:As to data for confirmation such as the telephone number of the destination, a mark is printed in the prescribed position of an arbitrary paper to produce a mark sheet. If a mark sheet is inputted to a scanner 11, the scanner 11 read the content of this mark. Thus obtained information is analized by a code analysis part 12. The result of this analysis is stored in a storage part 13 and registered. When the same confirmation data is to be registered in another facsimile equipment, data is read out from the part 13, and a recording part 16 reproduces and outputs the mark now converted to another prescribed mark. In this way, not much labor is necessary for an inputting for registration.
