The invention concerns tubular section material for use in mounting sliding windows. The tubular section comprises a central cavity (2) having on either side thereof flanges (3, 4) forming grooves for a pane. The tubular section has on one side a cover flange (7) and on the other side means for fixing the section in a window frame; the fixing means advantageously comprise a cavity (8) for accommodating reinforcing means (9) such as angle steel. The invention also concerns a welded plastic frame comprising tubular section material as described. |
