PURPOSE:To eliminate such inconvenience that channel data without corresponding relation to the broadcasting during receiving are displayed by inhibiting display of the channel data when the frequency data corresponding to a preset channel are updated by an auto-memory action. CONSTITUTION:When it is judges that the receiving level of the newly set frequency is weaker than a prescribed level, storing is not executed to a frequency memory part 27, and a next receiving frequency is set. Thus, the receiving frequency is successively changed from a lower limit frequency to a an upper limit frequency, and a receivable frequency is stored into the frequency memory part 27 satisfactorily. For the memory area of the memory part 27, there are only the number of channel bottons at an operating part 29, for example, when a fourth channel button (CH4) is operated, frequency data corresponding to a CH4 are sent from the memory part 27 to a receiving data memory part 26, and the designated broadcasting is received. At such a time, the CH data presetted together with the frequency data during the receiving are also stored in the memory part 26, and the contents are displayed at a displaying part 30.
