PURPOSE:To obtain a sustained release pullulan acetate microcapsule agent having excellent matrix type, by dissolving pullulan acetate in acetone, dispersing an ingredient having drug action and then evaporating the acetone. CONSTITUTION:Acetic anhydride is acetylated using 4-dimethylaminopyridine as a catalyst at ambient temperature to afford pullulan acetate having different acetylation degree. An ingredient having drug action which is a core substance is dispersed in a solution containing dissolved pullulan acetate which is a wall film substance and the dispersion is poured into a dispersing solvent containing a dispersing and separating agent previously added. Then the acetone is evaporated to provide the aimed product. The ingredient of drug action which is a core substance is selected from oral antibiotics such as ampicillin, amoxicillin, cephadroxyl, cepharadine, cephalexin or cephachlor. |
