PURPOSE:To perform a color recording without feeling of a physical disorder by providing a transparent ink nozzle in a recording head in which a plurality of nozzles for injection inks of different colors on a recording medium are formed. CONSTITUTION:When the types of the colors of inks to be injected to one pixel on a recording medium from a plurality of nozzles 20B, 20C, 20M, 20Y do not satisfy the maximum number of types, transfer ink is injected from a transfer ink nozzle 21 to control the total quantity of the inks to be injected to one pixel on the medium. Thus, both the transparent and color inks are injected upon one feeding of a recording head 6, the total quantity of the inks to be injected to one pixel is maintained constantly without decelerating its recording velocity to perform a fresh color expression without feeling of a physical disorder caused by the state, such as exposure of other color of the medium and the like due to a gap among dots with the types of the colors. |
