PURPOSE:To obtain titled tasty rice, wheat or barley, having excellent effects on health, by absorbing and coating the rice, wheat or barley with a crude drug, such as ginseng or lycii fructus. CONSTITUTION:Crude drugs, such as 5-10g Panax gingseng C.A. Meyer (ginseng), 10g lycii fructus (fruit of Lycium chinense Mill.), 5-10g polygoni multiflori radix, 10g barrenwort (Epimedium grandiflorum Morr. var. thunbergianum Nakai) or 10g seeds of adlay (Coix lacryma-jobi L. var. ma-yuen Stapf), are blended and decocted with 1l water to about 1/2 volume. The resultant decoction is then filtered through cloth or net into a container and about 30-50g finetose is dissolved in the above-mentioned container to dip rice, wheat or barley in the obtained solution, dried in the shade or air-dried to afford the aimed rice, wheat or barley. Furthermore, the afore-mentioned solution is preferably uniformly sprayed on the front and back sides of the rice, wheat or barley, dried in the shade or air-dried. |
