PURPOSE:To improve removing efficiency of sand and worakbility by inserting beforehand a suction pipe into a core mold to fill raw material sand and next removing the uncured sand by sucking with the pipe while pulling out the suction pipe after pressurizing the inner part of the mold. CONSTITUTION:Each pipe part 31a, 31b of suction mandrel 3a, 3b is inserted beforehand into cavity 2 in the core mold 1. Shell sand 14 is filled into the core mold 1 with a sand magazine 11 and pressurizing is executed with air blow chamber 12. Next, while pulling out the mandrels 3a, 3b, the sand which is not burnt is sucked and then, the sand is easily removed to obtain the hollow core. By this method, as the suction of the sand is executed under pressurized condition, the removing efficiency of the sand is improved and the workability of the core is improved, because of reduction of consumption of raw material sand and reduction of the core weight.
