PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a rim by arranging a subsidiary roll and auxiliary rolls having a stripe projection and external circumferential projections on a main roll having stripe grooves vertically movably and forming a rim wheel body in sequence from die material and fixing both its ends. CONSTITUTION:There is provided the main roll 1 having stripe grooves 2 made in the shape similar to the internal shape of the rim. The subsidiary roll 4 small in diameter forming stripe projections 5 is arranged to the stripe grooves 2 and in the same way, the auxiliary rolls 7, 8 having external circumferential projections 9 are arranged vertically movably. First, the subsidiary roll 4 is elevated, a shape material 12 is put between the main roll 1 and the subsidiary roll 4, the auxiliary rolls 7, 8 are elevated in sequence to roll out the shape material 12. A rim wheel body is formed and then both its ends are fixed by welding. Since the shape material 12 is rolled out through the projection and the stripe grooves, the rim is prevented from torsion and deformation and improved in quality.
