PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a product casting by forming the shape of the product as the assemblage of a plural sets of the data on sections and sticking the sheets made of a foamed resin based the respective sets of the data on the sections successively to each other. CONSTITUTION:An ingot 12 of the foamed resin is imposed in an ingot table 3. A controlled driving device 8 drives a rotary cutter 1 in accordance with the data on the sections of the pattern designed by a CAD system. X-th drawing machining is thereby executed and a slice of a prescribed thickness is formed by the operation of an X-Y slider 9 and a nichrome wire holder 13. The rotary cutter 11 executes the (X+1)th machining in the same manner and a slice piece is formed. The respective slice pieces are coated with an adhesive agent over the entire surface by means of rollers and are successively laminated on a lifting plate 25, by which the pattern is completed as a laminated block 28. Since the section formation and lamination are executed by utilizing the CAD system, the cost of the pattern is reduced. The cost of the product casting is, therefore, reduced. |
