PURPOSE:To obtain spectacles used as far-sight/short-sight spectacles by using one dioptric lens and once nondioptric glass together, forming a space between both materials, setting a thin curtain, injecting transparent water into the space part between the curtain and nondioptric lens and sealing the space part. CONSTITUTION:This lens consists of the dioptric outside lens 1, thin curtain 3, space 2, and space part 5, liquid 6, and nondioptric inside lens 4, the liquid 6 is injected into the space part 5 between the curtain 3 and inside lens 4, and the space part 5 is sealed. A circular pressure frame (not shown in figure) is mounted on the peripheral edge part of the curtain 3 to seal the space part. The liquid 6 moves up and down freely between the curtain 3 and inside lens 4 according to an in-use angle, the curtain 3 expands and contracts, and the inside lens 4 moves forth and back, so the diopter of the spectacles are adjusted to a proper diopter by the movement displacement of the liquid 6. When the curtain 3 and nondioptric inside lens 4 are equal in curvature, the diopter does not vary, but when the lens 4 is pushed out forward, the diopter varies to enable the spectacles to be used as far-sight/short-sight spectacles.
