PURPOSE:To improve the bonding strength of core blocks by causing molten glass containing ferromagnetic powder to flow between a couple of the core blocks while applying a magnetic field along its flowing direction and bonding and incorporating them through the solidification of the glass. CONSTITUTION:A couple of the core blocks 5, 6 being base members of a core chip are arranged opposedly. A recessed slot 10 packed with low melting point glass is formed to any opposed face of the core blocks 5, 6 and a rod member 13 made of low melting point glass 12 is placed above the gap (m) formed by the recessed slot 10. Ferromagnetic powder 14 is mixed in the low melting point glass 12 and the rod 13 is heated and molten while acting a magnetic attraction force downward by a magnet 15 arranged under the core blocks 5, 6, and the molten low melting point glass 12 is caused to flow quickly up to the lower end of the core blocks 5, 6 and packed in the gap (m) to attain bonding and incorporation. Thus, bonding is applied without giving undesired damage to the core block 7 and the bonding strength is drastically improved.
