<p>Magnetic tape apparatus with a servo bar (14) which is driven by a motor (40), can slide longitudinally back and forth and controls the functional parts of the apparatus, such as a head plate (3) and a loading mechanism (87). The motor (40) additionally serves for driving the hubs (42, 43). Furthermore, a control element (73) is provided, the position of which is determined by the servo bar (14) and the head plate (3) and, from its position, the position is derived of a rotary switching member (54), which operates switching means (60) for a logic circuit (46) of the motor (40), which couples the motor (40) non-positively to the servo bar (14) and which isolates the hubs (42, 43) from apparatus functions of the motor (40) during switching over. …<IMAGE>… </p> |
