PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive wire which is rich in flexibility to facilitate manufacture of a cable by filling superconductor in the space among wired conductors with circular cross sections twisted into layers. CONSTITUTION:Conductors twisted together or besides them a metallic layer coating the outside of the conductors is used for a supporter of superconductor. In the case of a superconductive wire 1, superconductor 2 is filled tightly among the space formed by wired conductors 3, and the superconductor 2 is unified with the wired conductors 3. The superconductive wire 1 is a very small diameter wire, so that the cross section of the space is very small; therefore, when the superconductive wire 1 is bent, unevenness of the stress which occurs in the superconductor in each space is very small. The wired conductors 3 are twisted lengthwise; accordingly the superconductor 2 is also in a twisted state; then the superconductor 2, a brittle body, is not easily broken. As mentioned above, it is easy to twist them into a cable and the limit for bending (allowable radius of curvature) can be raised.
