PURPOSE:To maintain an enclosed state over a wide temperature range from extremely low temperature to intermediate or high temperature and to preclude a breakage, etc., due to the entry of fluid by employing a welding or soldering process for sealing without using any O ring. CONSTITUTION:This instrument consists of a metallic cylinder body 1, metallic lids 2 and 3 formed on both its ends, electric instruments 4 (4x, 4y, and 4z) put in the cylinder body 1, a connector 6 inserted into a communication hole 5 bored in either of the lids 2 and 3, etc. Then the connector 6 has its external cylinder 7 made of metal and seals the communication hole 5 by welding A, and the connector 6 also has its terminal plate 8 made of ceramic and seals the gap between the external cylinder 7 and terminal 9 by welding B. Further, the gaps between the cylinder body 1 and lids 2 and 3 are sealed by welding A. Electricity is fed to and signals are inputted to and outputted from the electric instruments 4 which are enclosed through the terminal of the connector 6. Consequently, there is no gap due to thermal expansion or contraction, the sealed state is maintained over the wide temperature range from the extremely low temperature to the intermediate or high temperature, and a breakage due to the entry of fluid, etc., is precluded.
