PURPOSE:To easily identify the information with higher emergency and importance by analysing receipt mail information at a receiving side terminal, judging its emergency and importance characteristic and output-displaying the mail information in an output mode corresponding to its characteristic. CONSTITUTION:When a mail receiving request is transmitted to a mailbox 6 through a communication circuit 5, mail information is transferred from the mailbox 6 to a mail memory 2. A control part 1 judges whether or not a flag 24 of a header 22 of received mail information 20 is in the state of 'on', namely, judges whether or not the mail is of emergency condition grade. When it has no emergency, it decides whether or not a flag 25 is in the state of 'on', namely, it is important mail information. When it is emergent or important mail information, an output part 3 is driven and a printing output is executed by a printing pattern or by a printing color to indicate emergency or importance.
