The invention relates to a solution of a first substance of polypeptide nature, which is useful, in particular, for reducing the adsorption on the solid phase and the non-specific binding of the aforementioned first substance. According to the invention, a second substance chosen from monomeric or polymerised basic amino acids is added to the solution. The invention also relates to an immunoassay kit which contains vials containing the aforementioned first substance, an antigen and/or antibody, labelled or otherwise, in solutions with the aforementioned second substance or lyophilisates of these solutions.
