PURPOSE:To obtain a desired plowing depth even if a car body is remarkably tilted in the longitudinal direction in a short time due to vertical displacement of rear wheels, by providing a memory means for keeping a magnitude of tilt of the car body from detected results of a distance sensor and tilt sensor. CONSTITUTION:When front wheels 1 enter a recessed part of a field and a car body 3 is tilted, the position of the car body 3, magnitude and direction of tilt thereof are held in a memory means on the basis of detected results from a distance sensor and tilt sensor. When rear wheels arrive the recessed part, values held in the memory means are read out to change the target plowing depth to a shallower side corresponding to the read out values. Thereby elevation of a ground working device can be controlled before the lowering of level of the ground working device 8 caused by entry of the rear wheels in the recessed part is detected by a level sensor 9.
