A container for cleaning jewellery e.g. rings, earrings is provided with a liquid-permeable part 10. The latter may be located within the container or it may constitute part of the outer wall of the container. It may comprise a mesh, gauze, or perforated corrosion-resistant metal or a plastics material such as nylon. A handle 12 may be connected to the liquid-permeable part to lift the latter out of the container. In use, jewellery to be cleaned is placed on the liquid-permeable part and is cleaned by liquid in the container on shaking of the latter. <IMAGE> |
