PURPOSE:To quickly initialize a storing means, by initializing the storing means by writing the output of the storing means at once when a latching means which latches the output of the storing means is cleared by a prescribed unit. CONSTITUTION:This memory initializing system is provided with a selecting means 20 which selects either of a data-enable signal 1 inputted to a storing means 10 and an output 2 latching the output of the storing means 10 and outputs the selected one, a selection control signal generating means 30 which develops a selection control signal 3 for controlling the selection of the means 20, and latching means 40 which latches the output of the storing means 10 at the timing of a prescribed clock 5. In case of initializing the storing means 10, by writing the output 2 when the latching means, which latches the output of the storing means 10 is cleared to '0' to the storing means 10, '0' is simultaneously written in an input terminal and the storing means 10 is initialized. Therefore, the storing means 10 can be initialized quickly.
