PURPOSE:To obtain a widened net reinforced structural film while contriving to improve fearing strength by a method in which knots or fixed parts are formed at the crossing parts of the meshes of the net made by using a specified material, a thermoplastic resin film is fixed to at least one of the net surfaces and is made composite. CONSTITUTION:The twined yarn or knitted rope obtained by twining or knitting single or mixed organic fiber with a high knot strength such as aromatic polyester fiber, aromatic polyamide fiber, polyphenylene sulfide fiber or fluorine resin fiber, is formed. Warplike members 1 and weftlike members 2 are made into a latticelike net. In all crossing parts of each warp and weft members 1, 2, the knots 3 such as a fish net are formed to prevent the mutual sliding between the members 1, 2, whereby a netlike reinforcing base member 4 is constituted. Thermoplastic resin films 6, 6 are connected with the upper and lower both net-surfaces of the netlike reinforcing base member 4 and are made into a composite, whereby the integrally composed net-reinforcing structural film 7 is formed. The thermoplastic resin is molten state under heating is directly stuck onto the netlike reinforcing base member 4, whereby the film can be made, and also by this process, net reinforced structural film can be obtained.
