PURPOSE:To output an analog signal without causing a quantization error by converting a counter output into the analog signal, converting a time series pulse signal into a voltage in response to the frequency, integrating its F/V conversion output and adding the integration output and the analog conversion output. CONSTITUTION:The input pulse signal is counted as it is by a counter 5 and its output is D/A-converted. On the other hand, an F/V converter 7 converting an input clock pulse into a voltage corresponding to the pulse number is used, the output is used as the input to operate integration devices 10, 11 respectively at the interval of the pulse width to obtain a sawtooth waveform integration output, and the integration output is added to the D/A conversion output. Thus, even when the input signal is a clock pulse signal corresponding to the number of revolutions such as a rotary encoder 1 or a signal read out of a ROM storing the waveform data, the D/A conversion output is interpolated linearly as the output. Thus, the analog signal without quantized error is outputted.
