PURPOSE:To avoid occurrence of switching noises by switching selectively the rectifying circuit systems in response to the level of the primary input voltage and suppressing the fluctuation of the DC output voltage. CONSTITUTION:A power supply transformer T containing plural output terminals at the secondary winding side is used together with plural rectifying circuit systems 1 connected to those output terminals, an input voltage detecting circuit 3 which detects a prescribed level of the input AC voltage and a switch circuit Tr4 which opens and closes the electric paths of circuits 1 in response to the actuation of the circuit 3. Then a specific one of those circuits 1 is selected according to the level of the input AC voltage. Thus the fluctuation of the output voltage is suppressed. As a result, the switching noises produced by a switching regulator, etc., can be avoided.
