PURPOSE:To reduce that a patient feels a pain caused by irradiating a bone with an ultrasonic wave and to perform pain free treatment, by detecting the moving position of an applicator and controlling the ultrasonic vibrator in the applicator when said applicator reaches a preset position. CONSTITUTION:When an applicator 1 moves to the position of a moving circular arc 22 to be positioned on a bone 8 such as a rib, a position signal 14 is emitted from an angle-of-rotation detector 12 and an ultrasonic output control apparatus 11 reduces the output 16 of an ultrasonic oscillating and driving circuit 13 to reduce the quantity of the ultrasonic wave irradiating the bone 8 and the generation of heat from the bone is reduced. A patient 6 can receive treatment without feeling a pain when the generation of heat from the bone is reduced. The applicator 1 further advances in its rotation and the angle-of-rotation detector 12 detects that the applicator 1 reaches the position of the circular arc 22 and the ultrasonic output control apparatus 11 increases the output 16 of the ultrasonic oscillating and driving circuit 13 to the power necessary for hyperthermia and heats the affects part 5. By successively repeating this operation, ultrasonic heating generating no pain becomes possible.
