PURPOSE:To easily set either of the fixing of a number of revolution of a spindle motor or a number of revolution switching enable state in response to the recording density of a disk by providing 1st and 2nd switch means. CONSTITUTION:Either of the fixing of the number of revolution or the number of revolution enable state in response to the recording density of a disk is selected by the operation of the 1st switch 20 and the 2nd switch 21. Thus, a spindle motor 16 is driven fixedly at a number of revolution corresponding to, e.g., the high recording mode by a simple switch operation without revising a motor control circuit 13. Moreover, the state is changed from the fixed number of revolutions into the conventional number of revolution changing enable state by the simple switch operation. |
