PURPOSE:To realize the highly effective production of and reference to the knowledge by producing a predicate type knowledge storing unit to store the predicate type knowledge. CONSTITUTION:A predicate type knowledge storing unit is produced at a knowledge memory part 1 for each of knowledge units divided by a predicate type knowledge storing unit production means 2. Then the predicate type knowledge is divided by a predicate type knowledge production means 3 and stored in the knowledge storing unit produced by the means 2. Thus it is possible to refer to the predicate type knowledge divided for each knowledge unit and stored in the part 1 via a predicate type knowledge reference means 4 for each knowledge unit.
