PURPOSE:To attain sufficient durability of adhesion of an electroconductive substrate of an electrophotographic sensitive body to a photoconductive layer even if the photoconductive layer is formed after the lapse of a long time by forming the photoconductive layer after subjecting the electroconductive substrate to anodic oxidation and low temp. sealing treatment at <=40 deg.C, then forming a coating layer by dipping or other means. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer is coated after subjecting an aluminium electroconductive substrate to anodic oxidation followed by a sealing treatment at <=40 deg.C. The low temp. sealing treatment executed after anodic oxidation is executed, for example, by using a treating liquid consisting primarily of red prussiate of potash, etc. at <=40 deg.C. By this method, an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior adhesion of a substrate to a photoconductive layer is obtd. without causing any influence on the electric characteristics even if the photoconductive layer is formed by coating after the lapse of a long time. |
