PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of maloperation by a method in which an illuminator for the setting position of switch is provided and worked by operation of a specific switch for lightening the setting position of the switch for a fixed time period. CONSTITUTION:Push-button switches 48-411 and luminous diodes 5 are set on the back side of a sheet 1 having a switch position-displaying mark for an operation panel, and a liquid crystal displayer 6 is also provided. Lamps 8 and 9 for lightening the back side of the sheet 1 are provided in a casing 7. A timer in CPU is reset on the basis of the operation of the key switch of a power shovel, the starting plug of engine is set at L, and illuminators 8 and 9 are lit. During the lapse of a fixed time period (t), the timer is restarted at the starting time of engine, and the lamps 8 and 9 are lit only for the same period of time.
