PURPOSE:To attain sufficient durability of adhesion of an electroconductive substrate of an electrophotographic sensitive body to a photoconductive layer even if the photoconductive layer is formed after the lapse of a long time by coating the photoconductive layer on the surface of the substrate after subjecting the substrate to anodic oxidation and sealing treatment using a hot aq. soln. contg. a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:After forming an anodized film on the surface of an elec troconductive substrate consisting of Al by executing anodic oxidation treat ment, the substrate is subjected to sealing treatment using a hot aq. soln. contg. at least one kind among SiO2, CrO3, and their compds. Thereafter, a photoconductive layer is formed on the surface of the substrate. By this method, an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior adhesion of a substrate to a photoconductive layer is obtd. even if the photosensitive body is formed by coating after the lapse of a long time. |
