PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily manufacture a superconducting coil having the thickness according to intended purposes by a method wherein the sintered body, obtained by conducting molding and heating processes on the specific material powder, is fused and after it has been flame-sprayed one or more times on the substrate on which a mask having a spiral aperture is provided, a heat treatment is conducted. CONSTITUTION:A sintered body is obtained by conducting molding and heating processes on the powder of raw material containing yttrium, barium, copper and oxygen, and then said sintered body is fused. Subsequently, a fused substance of a rod type sintered body is flame-sprayed once or more times on the substrate 1 on which a disc-shaped mask having a spiral aperture 2 is provided. Then, a heat treatment is conducted on the laminated body formed on the substrate 1. As a result, a spiral-shaped oxide superconducting coil 8, having the desired thickness and the shape according to the shape of the aperture 2a of the mask 2, can be obtained easily. |
