PURPOSE:To reduce a load of both a host computer system and a front-end communication processor subsystem by simplifying the communication between the host computer system and the front-end communication processor with regard to an activation of a terminal after a rise of the front-end communication processor subsystem. CONSTITUTION:A front-end communication processor subsystem 12 is coupled with a host computer system 11 by a bus-like or loop-like communication channel 13, and also, to the front-end communication processor subsystem 12, a terminal 15 is connected by various communication channels 14. After the front- end communication processor subsystem 12 has risen, a host communication control part 121 can execute communication to the host computer system 11 through the bus-like or loop-like communication channel 13. In such a way, all terminals are activated in a lump so that an execution speed of a work program is not decreased.
