PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time and to simplify the processing by using a digital signal as a picture data with respect to a picture element and thinning or multiplying the signal based on the magnification and reduction rate. CONSTITUTION:A picture input means 1 receiving a picture data as a digital signal with respect to the picture element, a picture data storage means 2 storing the data, a magnification input means 3 inputting the magnification reduction rate, a magnification reduction means 4 magnifying/reducing the picture data stored in the storage means 2 by thinning or multiplying the data based on the magnification/reduction rate inputted from the magnification input means and a picture display means 5 displaying the magnified and reduced picture data are provided. Thus, the high speed processing is applied because of magnification/reduction through the interleaving or multiplying in this way and since the similar means are used for all the magnifications, it is not required to prepare details in response to the magnification in advance and the processing is simplified. |
