PURPOSE:To prevent an electrophotographic sensitive body from deterioration of electrifiability due to fatigue caused by preexposure by incorporating a polymer consisting of a specified monomer and/or its copolymer into a layer contg. a charge generating material dispersed therein. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer 1 and a charge transfer layer 2 are formed successively on an electroconductive substrate 3, and a polymer consisting of a monomer expressed by formula I and/or a copolymer consisting of said monomer and another copolymerizable compd. are(is) incorporated into the layer 1 contg. the dispersed charge generating material. In formula I, R1 is an H atom or a methyl group; R2 is an H atom or lower alkyl group, etc.; n is an integer 2-100. By this constitution, an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity causing less deterioration of electrifiability due to fatigue caused by preexposure, preventing moreover deterioration of charge potential during repetition of charge and exposure, is provided. |
