PURPOSE:To attain small size with high quality by multiplexing plural video signals, recording them onto an optical disk medium and reproducing only an optional track. CONSTITUTION:A laser drive circuit 3 controlling the laser using an output of a switch 2 applying timewise multiplex to an output of plural video cameras 1 as a recording signal and an optical pickup 4 applying recording/reproduction to the optical disk medium 5 including the laser, are provided. Then plural multiplexed video signals are recorded on the optical disk 5 and a guide pit of the optical disk medium 5 corresponding to the timing of a video signal among plural video signals is traced at the reproduction and only one optional video signal is extracted and reproduced. Thus, plural video signals are recorded on one medium and only an optional video signal is recorded and reproduced contactlessly. Thus, the device with small size and high reliability is obtained.
