A machine for spreading fertilizer comprising a bowl 5 arranged below a hopper 1 and provided with a spout 6 extending rearwardly and provided with openings in its side walls and end face is characterized in that the passage area of the openings in one side of the vertical longitudinal central plane of the spout is greater than at the other side of the plane. As shown side slots 7 are provided and one side is formed with an extra opening 7a. A member 14 is mounted in the end face of the spout and is arranged eccentrically to the centre of the spout. The bowl and spout are angularly reciprocated in a transverse direction by means of a crank 10 connected by a rod 12 to a lever 13 mounted on a shaft 3 on which the bowl 5 is mounted.</p> |
