<p>PURPOSE:To reduce waste of pressurized gas by changing the number of rotations of a vacuum pump for pressure swing adsorbers to control regeneration pressure so that the concn. of product gas produced in the adsorbers in kept constant in accordance with the amt. of the desired component required. CONSTITUTION:O2 is fed to an O2 utilizing device 5 from pressure swing adsorbers 6 through a pipe 22. In order to obtain the amt. of O2 required by the device 5, the number of rotations of a vacuum pump 4 is changed according to a signal 7 to control regeneration pressure. Adsorbing, pressure reducing and adsorbing stages are successively carried out in the adsorption towers 1A-1D to continuously send product O2 to a produce tank 2.</p> |
