PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body small in residual potential, high in sensitivity and chargeable potential by using a functionally separated photosensitive body formed by laminating a photoconductive layer and a charge transfer layer specified in infrared absorption spectra. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on a supporting body 1 the charge transfer layer 2 made of a film of a polymer having a ring structure represented by formula 1 in which (n) is >1, and R is H, CH3O, C2H5O, CH3, or Cl, and absorption A at a wave number of 3,024+ or -30cm<-1> and absorption B at a wave number of 2,913+ or -30cm<-1> in the infrared absorption spectra, and an integrated absorption intensity ratio as follows; 0.1<=IB/IA<=0.9, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be small in residual potential and high in sensitivity and chargeable potential. |
