Immediately above the transporter for base material is a horizontal piston cylinder, and at the end of the piston is a rake which transfers the balls of material to the rotatable circular work table. The table is rotatable by an electric motor, and rotation is stopped by a micro-switch. - On the table outer part are several pick-ups for material balls, equally spaced apart. The table can be forwardly indexed in six different positions, i.e. through 60 deg.C between each stop where six pick-ups are used. The pick-ups are rotatably located in the table, and comprise a base seat and an extending arm. In the normal position, the arm is directed forwards in the table direction of rotation, and thus at right-angles to a line from it through the table centre. - A sprung arm projects over the table, and when the table is forwardly indexed, it moves the the balls of material towards the pick-up seat. In front of this arm, is a cutting component which rotates continuously, cutting off the dome-shaped top of each material ball. Ahead of the cutting station are two filin stations for almond paste and cream respectively, each comprising a funnel with a controlled feed pump. |
